The Visit the Weald website was set up by locals to the area (in-between full-time jobs!), initially to promote tourism in the many small but beautiful villages and towns in the Weald of Kent. Visit the Weald does not profess to be an official tourism site and is not part of any government or other body. That said, we hope we can ‘unofficially’ succeed in showing visitors from around the world the wonderful things that the area has to offer.

Our thanks goes to the local attractions and businesses who have contributed information, content and/or permission to use photographs to be included in the website, and all the kind words of encouragement from locals across the area. Credits also go to Ant Tomlinson of Clever Little Fishes who designed & built the website, Charlie Tomlinson, Jane & Brian Awford, Selma Pickup, Mariam Kobrava, Jacqui Curtis and David Merewether.

All listings are free of charge. If you want to be included please email info@visittheweald.co.uk. Please bear in mind that because the website is not run with any dedicated staff on a full-time basis, replies to emails may not be instant, though we do check them regularly.

As this site continues to grow we will be adding content to the village/town pages. Further, if you live in one of the villages in the Weald of Kent and want to contribute content please also email us.
