Maidstone Kent

Maidstone is a large & busy town, ideal for shopping and and a good night out with plenty of restaurants, bars & clubs. Being approximately 40 miles from London and 30 miles from the Kent coast, it has easy access to both and is a great base for exploring the history and culture of the surrounding villages.

Just outside of Maidstone is Leeds Castle, the 'lovliest castle in the world' and a must on the itinerary. Kent Life is also a great day out for families, where kids can cuddle animals, ride on tractors, play in some of the 28 acres and explore historic buildings. Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery is also worth a visit (check out the latest exhibitions on its website).

For grown-ups, Madame Mu Mu's cabaret show is great fun for a night out.
